End of Year 1

Oh well, hello there. It's (shockingly) the end of Year 1 Semester 2 which also means that it's officially the end of my YEAR 1 IN RP. Yes, it's damn fast and I just realise it. Basically, a lot has happened in this one year in RP, people come people go, heartbreaks, emotional moment, happy ones and so on. I really enjoyed my semester 2 (surprisingly). Feel, that I'm more sociable in this class then in the previous ones and I like it but I miss BUDAK  LAWAU a lot!! Really hope to see Amirah back in school though. :/

Bandung PART 2

Holla! It's been a while and it's been prolly a week since i came back from Bandung. So, Im back with BANDUNG PART 2. truthfully nothing much is running in my mind right now because i keep thinking about school starting soon since its already APRIL. Maybe you don't really know how bad i don't want April to come and i can assure you it's really bad that even words can't express it.

BASICALLY I'M NOT READY FOR SCHOOL, WHAT'S IN THERE THAT ARE  WAITING FOR ME. CHINCAH!!

SIDE TRACK ALREADY, COME BACK NOW. Hahaha. So back to my Bandung, we started out early the next day. Going to KAWAH PUTIH took us a total of 5 hours journey to and fro and the supir (driver) told us that IT'S NOT THAT FAR. So guys, please imagine how FAR IS FAR. bleah. HAHAHA. Really can't seem to trust them about distance because our Tampines to Bedok only takes us 15/20 minutes but in Indonesia, Tampines to Bedok can take you minimum 1 hour to reach. Yes, THAT FAR. So, their near is basically our Tampines to Jurong lah huh. :P Anyways, we were so hyped up for the first hour of our journey because we had junks with us. From tempeh goreng to char kueh and chendol to accompany us during the rides. However when we were really full, we totally slept through our way to Kawah Putih. After 2 hours, finally we reached at the BOTTOM of kawah putih. BOTTOM mind you. *BLEAH* After 3 hours, we didn't reach Kawah Putih exactly. In addition, we had to change the mode of transportation to a small van with no doors and wooden seats that can fit ALL OF US. Hmmm, small van which can fit prolly 10-12 of us. HAHAHAHAHA (IMAGINE), something new and exciting to try out though. I like it, especially with the cool breeze hitting your face. 

However, we didn't really feel particularly COLD when we were there but when we reached the sea area itself than did we feel cold even though it's just a strong cooling breeze, just perfect, not too hot nor too cold to make me sweat or make my teeth chatter. There was about 3-4 flight of stairs we had to climb before reaching Kawah Putih itself. 

Next is the scenery of Kawah Putih itself. I have to tell you that it's a TOTAL BEAUTY, hands down. REALLY BREATH TAKING and such a A SIGHT FOR EYE SORE. Masha Allah, it was really beautiful, the water was blue/green and it was so clear! Seems like it was never touched. IT CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD AND BLEW ME AWAY, TOTALLY. The moment we step there till the moment we left, we only took pictures and didn't stop, maybe because we can only stay around for maximum 15-20 minutes as told by the signboards  for tourists because of the strong scent of sulphur from the volcano that last erupted a lot of years ago but the smell is too strong that the asthmatic people will have problem breathing and would get dizzy.

 True much, the parents were all dizzy soon. A lot more pictures was taken at the waiting area itself and we soon headed down at 12PM and had lunch at 3PM. Yupp, 3 hours because of the JAM what else. *roll eyes until cannot roll* Did I mention that we only ate Nasi Padang for lunch? SUPER BORING if you look at it and trust me, you wouldn't ask for more because we really had nasi padang for BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DINNER. No crackers in between or anything so we were all super hungry and Nasi Padang was more than enough even though when i think of it i would be like ''YOU SERIOUS?!" 

Next. **Plan Spoiler alert:** As i predicted (in the van), our TRANS STUDIO trip will be  cancelled and was really CANCELLED because it was already late afternoon and we wouldn't want to rush the whole thing. However, it didn't really dampen my mood because the plan changed to SHOPPING!! *.* HEHEHE. Come, i recommend you, a must must go factory outlets are: TOKO 3 AND THE SECRET!! Super heaven please, branded close at CHEAP PRICE. *.* This 2 shops could make you go running around and around but stupid me didn't spent a lot there because i thought there were more factory outlets that we are gonna go. REGRET. If i were to know that that was the last I would've finished up all my money. TSSSK. SUPER REGRET LAHHHHHH.

By the time we ended our shopping spree, it was night time and we had dinner, also the time when Kak Ayun fell sick. Seriously, falling sick during a holiday is the last thing you want to experience(speaking from experience). 

So the next day, we started at 9AM, had breakfast and such. BEST PART is, right after breakfast, i started to feel all nauseated and my head hurts. Only god knows how much it hurts and uncomfortable it felt. I cried after i vomited 3 times.

TUPID STOMACH FLU RUIN MY HOLIDAY. 

Slept through to Tangkuban Perahu because i couldn't even lift my head up. Reached Tangkuban and I vomited AGAIN. Couldn't even enjoy the scenery as much because the headache was really disturbing. :( Still, managed to get some souvenirs for my girlfriends and then headed down to Trans Studio next with Sissy and Tika.

Really not a good idea because i was still sick though I still enjoyed it and we were told that they had the biggest indoor theme park and the roller coaster was less than 1 minute. 0.0 THAT FAST. However, it was  a great disappointment, my expectations were kept up high and it came crashing down after walking for 5 minutes inside the theme park. It was the most boring thing ever?! Worst part is when all the souvenir shops sells the same thing and i brought a lot of money thinking that i had A LOT to buy when i'm there. disappointing yo....

2013

2013. "Time sure pass by fast when you're having fun" 

That statement above, I couldn't agree more. So.. Hi guys, its the 9th day of 2013 today and it has been good. :) A very very positive note is because Year 1 is ending in 5 weeks time.

BEST NEWS EVER. 

However, UT 2 and UT3 is around the corner and here I am typing away another blog post. HOKAYYY. I've not been a good student since school reopens, have been skipping class A LOT. I think I didn't attend school at least once a week. HEHEHE Plus, don't even talk about my grades before school closes, WORST NIGHTMARE EVER. HAHAHA. Lesson learnt, NEVER DO YOUR RJ WHEN YOU ARE AT USS. :O #truestory. coz I got 2 F's in a week when I partial-ed and didn't submit my RJ properly so it was left un-submitted. BLEAH

Anways, did you know what I did on 31 December 2012 11:59PM?  SLEEP. XD Worst countdown ever! I swear I didn't even think of staying up till the clock strikes 12. Yes, that was how UNEXCITED i felt welcoming 2013.

On a brighter note, I skipped school last Friday and went to Adventure Cove with the cousins. Adventure Cove was... nice? Seriously, I expected much more lah because the picture looks really fun and convincing. PICTURES ARE ALWAYS DECEIVING RIGHT? Maybe because it's at RWS and I expected it to be as awesome as USS, but BLEAH. It was exactly the same as Sunway Lagoon I guess? HAHA so that's about it though. Hmm, I still suck at ending a blog entry after years of blogging.

MALACCA, TRAGEDY OCTOBER.

HI. My intention to blog today was to share about my experience to Malacca for Hari Raya Haji(Korban) but seriously speaking, I don't even know what to blog about. CINCAH. My friends kept asking how was my trip to Malacca and I told them that it was great but my face didn't lie though. A THOUSAND LIES. So right now, im telling you guys the truth that it was the worst trip ever. I wasn't looking forward to the trip at all, honestly. I don't know why, maybe because I found out that we won't be staying in a hotel but a home stay instead and my instincts were screaming that it won't be a good one.*bitch mode on* TRUE MUCH. URGH. So let me just sum up what we did lah okay? it's making me boil just thinking about it.

Day 1, left home at 530PM and ran some errands before going to West Coast for dinner because we plan to wait for Ayah's family there. Decided not to wait there because they were quite late so we went in JB and waited for them at the first petrol station. Reached the petrol station about 8 and they came about 930PM. Hello... you know ah, i really HATE waiting if you don't knowlah now i tell you. 1 and a 1/2 hour at the petrol station isn't funny. I was pissy already actually but decided not to care and started video-ing and snapping pictures. It was close to 10 when we left the petrol station. An hour journey and we finally reached Ayer Keroh, it was close to 12AM. I was excited because sister activated roaming for my phone and I was about to use when I received messages saying that my roaming has expired at 23:59PM. Tell me how to not go crazy? I was fuming by that time. Pissed off, annoyed and irritated, ALL OF IT, JUST NAME IT. That was the only thing I was looking forward to and now, I can't even use it. WHAT BULLSHIT. Decided to just cool down and let 1st sister do the job. Finally at 2AM, we reached the home stay. By that time I was too worn out already but didn't really head to bed because guess what? There were cockroaches around.

FML. TOTALLY. 

It wasn't a laughing matter lah, I could barely close my eyes but I was too darn tired and slept at 430AM. Woke up at 9AM the next day, prepped up and went to Uncle's mum's house which was just a walking distance. Walking under the scorching hot sun, i didn't complain much though. Hahaha, because I decided not to let anything ruin my morning. -.-

Had our korban there. Korban is basically, anyone who has more "rezeki"(fortune) to buy a Cow/ a Lamb, "sacrifice"(cut) them for it to be given to the less fortunate. After an hour or so, we went back to the home stay and basically didn't do anything else till it was about 5PM. WHAT.THE.HELL.I.KNOW. 

LEPAK. GO MALAYSIA TO LEPAK WHAT. 

SIT DOWN DO NOTHING.

Oh gosh, I don't even want to continue you know? NOTHING GOOD HAPPEN. WHAT TO WRITE? Only me RANTING AND RANTING AND RANTING. TSSK. so basically my holiday ends here because it the start of MAJOR STUCK UP. PERIOD.

Year 1 Semester 2.

Heyy heyy heyy. It's already October 20, is anyone even reading my blog? Blog seemed like forever ago but it isn't for me though. I talk about my life even though I don't update it daily.  For now is obviously school. I swear 15 weeks passed fast. What more my 1 and a half months of holiday that I looked forward at the end of it. Semester 2 is here and I just ended the first week of school. Things change, or exactly, friends change. Yes, you should know that RP changes class every semester. No doubt, I miss my Year 1 Sem 1 class A WHOLE DAMN LOT. fun people to be around with, ESPECIALLY with my "BUDAK LAWAU'S". Miss them like a lot!  First week of Semester 2 was.. FINE? I don't really have much to say because it's just the first week and it seemed to be a bit too early to judge so we'll just see how it goes. However, in my class  there's still 4 Malay girls and 1 Malay guy. SADLY. The funny thing is that there is only 2 names. Amirah and the other is Hidayah. HAHAHA! If you're fast you'd catch the joke. BUT if you haven't, well, the 4 Malay girls names are Amirah Amirah and Hidayah Hidayah. Obviously not the full name but yes. Actually it's not just our name but 2 more girls with the same name. HAHA. So yeah, break time changed too and I swear it's later and my stomach was having a concert till the first break. 

Anyway, I'm off to Melaka this Thursday to Sunday! WHOOP! Dads side's celebrating Hari Raya Haji there and our family's heading to LEGOLAND!! :D FREAKING EXCITED to see how it looks like, though I think it won't be any better than USS. Till my next entry then! xx

My Happy Raya 2012

Im back, yes with my HARI RAYA POST like finally. This year was a bit different, obviously because grandma left us a few months back, it really was different because her 100 day falls on the first day of raya. Therefore after dawn, we had kenduri arwah at my crib.

Usually on hari raya, I only, TOTALLY look forward to FOOD! DUH. As usual, the food was splendid. I GAINED 3 KG ON FIRST DAY OF RAYA! WHUT!! Thank god, I lost it back afterwards. CRAZY!! I was soo engrossed, eating all the delicious food! Even the ones at my house! I don't usually like what my mum has for raya every year. BUT THIS YEAR, ALL THE KUIH ARE MY FAVORITES. Totally. :O
Oh yes, did I forget to mention that Munchkin had a last minute food galore at Geylang on malam raya? I swear it was good, BUT THE CROWD WAS A MAJOR TURNOFF. Went home at 5AM, oh yes we did. My eyes could barely make it when I reached home.

Hari raya routine was almost the same every year except that there was a lot more house to visit this year instead of the normal to paternal and back home since late grandma was living with us. After she left, which was this year, we went to quite a few places before heading back home. Hmm, this year's raya outfit was kinda normal to me, those typical ones you would see outside. It was kind of disappointing because I expected more of my outfit. :/ BUT WHATEVER.  This post is getting more mundane and boring if I were to continue babbling.

So, I was tired of scrolling through tumblr, repost, likes and what not. (been doing it for hours). Suddenly, i came across this post called honesty hour that attracted my attention. And you know what happens next right? HAHAHA So here I am doing Honesty Hour! YEAY!  Actually it's been a while since I last did this you know. I was suppose to have a Hari Raya update but oh gosh. I guess its a bit too late to invite July here since its already here. Best part its UT2 , 2 weeks after UT 1. I just have to start studying already. No lazing around anymore. Life has been bullshit for the past days and weeks. UGH. Just what the hell is wrong with me I am not sure myself but I bet that it hasn't been any good.

JULY is coming

JULY is coming. it's going to be rather EVENTFUL. yes, full of events. Besides the birthday, which is a norm, we've got wedding events. don't really wish to elaborate more because you know, SOME people tend to be unhappy with the words that we say or every MOVE that we make. HAHA. jealous people, what to do. The worst part is when the SOME people is close to us. OK STOP. DON'T ELABORATE. shall update more when the events eventually past. :)

UT1

today is UT 1 for cognitive and here i am feeling numb. what the hell is wrong with me? i don't even know. seriously life always has its ups and down. oh and by the why i enjoyed my 2 weeks break. filled with good days. :) on the other hand now that school has started, more shits started to come by. sad part is, I'm not even doing anything about it. everyday in the middle of the night, i cried. thinking about late grandma really saddens me. kept imaging her being at the places she usually does in the parts of the house. oh wells, life goes on.

Its been 6 days now. 6 days since grandma left the world, left me and the rest. I don really know what to feel right now, sincerely. Everything happened to fast, I wasnt prepared. days past, restless and tired. sometimes I wish I could follow her up there. I couldnt take the overwhelming feeling. 1 day without her, suddenly every part of the house reminded me of her. On the other hand, Alhamdulillah everything went smoothly and I managed to see her for the last time. Still, I cant stop tearing every time i think of her. Maybe I just miss her too much and still couldn't bear to let her go. Still, who am I to go against god's will, god loves her more than us. I know god has better plans for her in the other world. Dad kept reminding us to not cry when she's gone but I couldn't stop myself. Its not because I regret, because she really left me, left us. Even when I'm here typing, I'm still crying and its been 6 days. I'm not strong enough, After all I'm just a kid who miss her grandmother whom she took care of for 6 years. :'(

nek, until today, even though its only 6 days I am missing you soo much. you are really not here anymore and I've only come to realize and accept it. This year's raya will be without you, it will be different without YOU. After this, I have no one to complain to, to fight with, to laugh with and to cry with someone called NENEK RUMINAH. I miss you dearly Nek, I hope you will be better up there with HIM. :')

BANDUNG PART 1

BANDUNG, air bandung? mee bandung? maybe not. BANDUNG, the heaven for shopping. true much. get yourself ready because i'll be flooding my blog with lots of pictures! its been a long time since i had a proper update especially when it comes to holiday. what not, i rarely go for holiday. LOL. its 4:15AM as im updating this blog so dont mind mewhen i start talking crap. just read on okay. HAHA.

anyways, the day before we went off, i went over to ibu's crib. DAD'S ORDER. went around the house for a last check on my checklist make sure that i didn't forget not even a single thing. its hard, seriously. because we still ended up forgetting our slippers. not me, but them. did i forget to share how hectic was the packing period? the room was in a mess. TOTAL MESS FOR 1 WEEK. i had to scream to get my sisters going. it's funny but that's just us, we LOVE to do things halfway and the next minute, we end up playing the computer finding unusual things and leave the packing hanging. we went to Bandung with 2 luggages, yes it was a mistake for a family of 5 people to check in 2 luggage's only. whereas ibu's family had 3 peopleand checked in 2 luggage's as well. lesson learnt. i was too excited that i couldn't sleep at home. played with my phone till 12. slept till 2, Tika woke up and I ended up rolling on the bed till 4 where ayah woke us all up. yes EARLY. guess what time was our flight? 10:40AM. too much blabbering already. so skip skip, it was time to board the plane. TIME TO SAY GOODBYE SINGAPORE for 4 days.

pretty excited? HELL YES I WAS. the plane ride was quite smooth just that i had a bad headache. Still, Arfah was all hyped up after her 1 hour sleep. chop chop we reached after 1 hour and 40 minutes. FINALLY SAY HOLLA BANDUNG! frankly speaking the queue at the customs was TAKING FOREVER. it was really slow that we were done in 1/2hour. yes that SLOW. disappointed for a first timer. thank god it was not humid, super windy even when its sunny. could control my mood.*phew*

DENGDENG, our supir for the 1st day! okay no his name was DANDAN. i think. HAHA! he took us from the airport and headed for lunch first. boy was i hungry. the spread of food was nasi padang. IT WAS NICE. SUPER NICE. not exaggerating, but facts. FYI, they don't have sambal belacan alright. its called SAMBAL MERAH which was actually SAMBAL BELADO. their specialty like our sambal belacan. didn't really know what was so nice about it because im not a fan of belacan what more belado right. the spread of food was a lot and the uncle did warn us about being charged for every food that we touched. we took note of course finishing all the food that we took. everyone was re-energized after the long wait. finally lunch charged all of us up!

next was our first factory outlet shopping. didn't do much shopping because i bared in mind that there was a lot of factory outlet so i didn't want to rush. ended up waiting for my dad to buy his clothes. it was looongggggg. BUT NOT LOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG ENOUGH to beat the makciks after that at PASAR BARU. 3 SOLID HOURS spent at the level 4 and 1/2 level shop. initially, they only wanted to buy telekung. then they were attracted to the kain batik to kain eler to samping. it was like a virus spread from the maks to the teenagers to the fathers. hectic i tell you and it was only our family in the shop. it felt as if there was a lot of people! i think by judging the stuffs that we bought, the shop owner could close the shop for the day. no i was not exaggerating because we really bought A LOT. the rest of us except for the mak mak got REALLY REALLY BORED that we were at our wits end. we were feeling TOO BORED that kak yun and kak nana had their photography session at the car park itself. guess what, FYI, THERE WAS 350 SHOPS of 8 levels and we spent 3 hours at 1 shop! i was like, ''what about the 349 more shops?!'' it was really epic when i remembered it.

(3 LONG HOURS WAIT)

finally after 3 solid hours we headed down to GRAND SERELA HOTEL!! FINALLY! the moment everyone has been waiting for. by the time we reached the hotel, everyone was dead beat and didn't have the motivation to do anything. or was it just me? i just wanted to LAY DOWN ON THE BED. waited for the administrations to be done and head up to 3 different rooms.627. 628. 630. it was at the last level because ours was a DOUBLE STOREY hotel room. i went crazy for a moment. having the 2nd story for me and tika was obviously splendid! it was a good thing that tika was lazy to go up therefore i had the bed to myself most of the time. HAHA. rest for a bit and headed down for dinner at PRAOE seafood. the food there was SUPERB because it was seafood. everyone started eating and there was total silence. really menikmati makanan. the dessert was nice to but not to my liking, sadly. after dinner, everyone was soo full already. stopped by the alfamart something like a 7-11 store in singapore but sadly they had limited items there especially the drinks and crackers. sad.

therefore the night went over us as everyone was dead beat. initially kak yun booked a karaoke room for us but the parents were having their messaging time so we waited. and waited, till i was too worned out and slept. we had to wake up early as usual but I find out that they didn't go for the karaoke session. HAHA.

basically, that is all for my PART 1 blog entry for BANDUNG! Part 2 to be continued SOON! it is going to be kinf of too long if i were to put all 4 days into 1 and you'll get bored by the end of this entry.
